How KaabaSharif Works
KaabaSharif gives U.S. travelers one place to submit their Umrah trip requirements and compare personalized quote options from participating U.S. Umrah agencies.
Instead of explaining the same trip to several agencies separately, you can tell KaabaSharif what you need once. We organize the request so participating agencies can prepare options based on the same trip information.
Step 1: Tell us about your Umrah trip
Use the Journey Planner to share the information an agency normally needs to prepare a useful quote. This can include your departure city, dates, number of travelers, Makkah and Madinah nights, hotel preference, rooms, flights, transportation, and budget.
Step 2: KaabaSharif organizes the request
We use your trip requirements to create a request that participating U.S. Umrah agencies can review. Your direct contact details are not initially shared with agencies while quote options are being gathered.
Step 3: Participating agencies prepare quote options
Agencies that can serve the request can prepare personalized options based on the trip requirements you submitted. Availability and the number of options can vary by request.
Step 4: You compare the details
Compare more than the total price. Look at flights, baggage, hotel names, hotel location, room setup, transportation, visa assistance, meals, Ziyarat, change terms, cancellation terms, and support.
Step 5: You decide which agency to contact
You remain in control of the choice. After you decide which agency you want to speak with, KaabaSharif can help make the connection so you can discuss the quote and booking directly with that agency.
What KaabaSharif does
- Collects your Umrah trip requirements in one request
- Helps participating U.S. agencies understand what you need
- Helps you receive and compare agency quote options
- Keeps your direct contact details from being initially shared with agencies while quotes are gathered
- Lets you decide which agency you want to connect with
What KaabaSharif does not do
KaabaSharif is not the travel agency providing your flights, hotels, visa service, transportation, or other booked travel services. A quote is not a confirmed booking. Your selected agency is responsible for its final price, availability, terms, payment process, and travel services.
What information should I have ready?
You do not need to know every detail. Start with what you know, such as your departure city, possible dates, traveler count, preferred hotel level, room needs, whether you need flights, and an approximate budget. More specific requirements usually help agencies prepare more useful options.
Can families and private travelers use it?
Yes. The Journey Planner lets travelers describe family needs, room requirements, hotel preferences, flight preferences, transportation needs, and custom trip details.
See our family Umrah guide and custom Umrah guide.
Are you an Umrah agency interested in participating?
U.S. Umrah agencies can learn about the pilot and submit their information on the Agency Partnership Registration page.
